Edward "Buddy" Banks, one of the orginal members of the r&b singing group The Rude Boys has passed. The group was best known for their hit single "Written All Over Your Face" ft Gerald Levert. Rest easy King!

The Rude Boys are a 1990s R&B/vocal group from Cleveland, Ohio. Group first formed by Edward Buddy Banks and co-founded by Joe N Little III. Edward then added Larry Bingo Marcus and Melvin Sephus.

Tommy "Tiny" Lister Jr. (June 24, 1958 – December 10, 2020) 

Tiny Lister was a character actor and former wrestler known for his role as the neighborhood bully Deebo in the Friday trilogy series of movies. He also had a short-lived professional wrestling career, wrestling Hulk Hogan in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) after appearing as "Zeus" in Hogan's movie No Holds Barred. Lister is blind in his right eye.

30 years ago today, New Line Cinema released House Party in theatres! The film was written and directed by Reginald Hudlin and starred the 90's hiphop duo Christopher “Kid” Reid and Christopher “Play” Martin of Kid ‘N Play.

Also featured in the comedy were Martin Lawrence, Tisha Campbell, A.J. Johnson, Gene “Groove” Allen (of Groove B. Chill), Darryl “Chill” Mitchell, Full Force (B-Fine, Paul Anthony and Bowlegged Lou), Kelly Jo Minter, the late John Witherspoon, who passed away in 2019 and Robin Harris (who died of a heart attack nine days after the film was released).
